    i haven't tried the pancake but I use the apple filling recipe for making Dutch apple pie. I use at least three small apples, about 1/2 to 2/3 cups brown sugar (I make sure to taste as I add), and 1 to 2 tsp cinnamon (again, to taste). also 7 Tbsp butter. Cook till apples are soft. Mmm!
