very good recipe. I added a few pinches of corn starch to the sauce to thicken it up and cooked it longer to thicken it. I think the chicken needed more oil to fry it in the beginning. It was a very good recipe and will 100% make again.

scaled the recipe up, there wasnt enough cornstarch (needed just a bit more!), but it still turned out great! beautiful and delicious. surprisingly very accurate gentso flavor!

Loved it!! It was my first time to make Chinese food and it was so easy! Followed the recipe as is.

Turned out great! Kids devoured it. I would say maybe a bit less ginger for my taste though and a bit more red pepper flakes.

Wow just wow!!! So good!
I adjusted the recipe to double portion. At first I was nervous about the consistency of the sauce but it thickened as I let it simmer At the end. I also added broccoli at the very end. My boys and hubby were amazed! It looked great and tasted out of this world!

this turned out really good. the ginger should be tsp not tbs for the amounts. i halved the amount since ginger is strong af; but frankly it tasted like ginger sweet and sour chicken; and while id make it again; it did not taste like general tsos

Sauce was spot on perfect. Needs the crushed red pepper flakes. I also added some flour with garlic and onion powder, red pepper, and salt to the dry breading mix in addition to the corn starch.

Kid Approved in my house. Might just skip the cornstarch on the chicken step next time

Very simple recipe. Good flavors. I used about 1 1/2 lbs of chicken and still had plenty of sauce. I'll probably use chicken thighs next time for better flavor

What a delightful meal! The recipe was easy to make. My husband asked if we could make this again tomorrow! Thanks for sharing a General Tso's Chicken recipe featuring on-hand ingredients.

Super tasty. My family loved it. Next time I will season the meat before putting it in the corn starch.

Great recipe! Easy instructions with common ingredients, sauce has a great flavor, and the cornstarch coated chicken was perfect to thicken the sauce and add just a bit of crunch. I will definitely make this again!
