    Delicious! The sauce thickened quickly. I would suggest using less cornstarch when preparing the sauce

    the chicken breading needed more starch less flour as most of the breading came right off in the oil (or maybe i needed to let the chicken soak in egg longer idk) and the sauce was nothing like the dish you get in american restaurants. is the hosin amount correct?

    Waste of my Saturday afternoon. The sauce is disgusting. It’s so overpowering you don’t know what you’ve put it on. All I would recommend it for is a dipping sauce. Good thing I’m trying to lose weight and didn’t want to eat much of this. The breading and frying of the chicken was not good either. The cornstarch/flour falls off and burns in the oil. I could taste baking powder. I will stick to panko. There’s a huge amount of clean up with all of this as well. It was overall very unpleasant and not worth it.

    Tastes Amazing! Easy to prepare,. I added veg to create a dish similar to Thai Express and it turned out great!

    The chicken turned out great! It was less sweet than the general Tso's I get from my favorite Chinese takeout place but it still tastes amazing!

    I read the reviews and still wanted to give it a try. It is a very odd sauce. Not the General Tso's I know and love. Too much Hoisen. Find another recipe if you want my recommendation.

    bad batter and bitter sauce. wont usr again. added sugar to make it etable. i have better breading recipes. to much corn starch makes it gritty, should invert the flour and starch amounts

    I found the chicken to be very crispy, will definitely use this style batter again. However the sauce bitter and sour. I Would not use this sauce again.

    The sauce is a little too bitter and sour. Other wise the directions were spot on and worked perfectly. We had fun making it even if it was just so so.
