- 3 tsp. olive oil (divided)
- 1/2 medium red onion (sliced)
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper (sliced)
- 1/4 cup orange bell pepper (sliced)
- 1/4 cup yellow bell pepper (sliced)
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 large garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (like sauvignon blanc or chardonnay)
- 1 1/2 cups half & half
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- kosher salt (to taste)
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
