It was PERFECT! I followed the directions almost perfectly, served it with mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus, and a buerre rouge sauce...it got RAVE reviews. The leftovers also made a killer steak & eggs the next day 👍 I will 100% make this recipe again.

Delicious! I will make again and invite guests next time. My 2# tri tip was untrimmed, so I trimmed the one side and seared the fat side in a little olive oil before turning over and roasting for 20 min in a Dutch oven. Cooked marinade was yummy drizzled over the sliced meat.
