I think this dish relies on the skill of the chef to bring out its best potential, and sadly, my steak and skillet skills need more practice. Mushrooms were delicious, but I felt the herbs (especially the rosemary) didn't seep into the meat as well as I liked. I also used dry herbs instead of fresh, which may have made the world of difference.

Very yummy recipe, did it as mentioned exactly. The sauce is amazing! I added to the garlic since I like it. I doubled the oregano and cut the thyme to half since its a bit bitter

The mushrooms are SO good. Did the meat with just a salt and pepper rub, then cooked it in a bit of beer from another recipe- otherwise followed the directions pretty accurately. All turned out extremely well, but the mushrooms really blew us away with how great they tasted.
