We marinated the chops for 2 1/2 hours. The balsamic vinegar did not impart the flavor we were expecting. Balsamic bland otherwise nice chops.

Made this twice - one for the Schneiders (marinated for a couple of hours and grilled on the BBQ), then for Jerry and Diane (marinated for a few days and smoked). I also added fresh tarragon, majoram, mint, and parsley, and always a bit of garlic salt. Met with rave results both times. Also used a lamb loin instead of chops.

I added a little meat rub while it was on the grill. According to my husband, it was so tender and tasty (I'm a vegeterian so I took his word for it, and he's an honest critic).

LOVED this recipe! the flavors were so savory and the meat was tender from the marinating. Only thing I changed up was that instead of grilling, I broiled them.

Very easy, tasty recipe. I've used it several times, and tonight, I'm subbing garlic scrapes for the garlic.
