- Peel garlic available at Youngs market McDermott & Ellen slice large cloves in half. Spread on cookie sheet & bake for 1/2 hr @ 250-275. Do not overtake. Place roasted garlic in a large plastic container. Mix 1/2 c. balsamic vinigar & olive oil. 50/50. Add one finely chopped Roma tomato. Basil 1 T dried or fresh. Pour mixture over garlic and cover.
- Forget the tomato if you want to use the garlic for various recipes.
- Let sit a few days before using. Lasts forever.
