    Tasty homemade sauce! I made some changes based on what I had. I used a can of whole plum tomatoes with basil. I didn’t have any tomato sauce so I left that out, no fresh basil so I used a couple of teaspoons of dried Italian seasoning instead, used honey instead of brown sugar, and left out the bell peppers. I simmered it longer than 10 minutes to break down the whole tomatoes more and then I blended it in my Vitamix.
