- 14 oz. diced tomatoes with juice (1 can, 400ml)
- 1 cup low sodium beef broth (240ml)
- 1/2 cup red wine (120ml)
- 1 Tbsp. sweet paprika (15ml)
- 1 tsp. dried thyme (5ml)
- 1 tsp. sea salt (5ml)
- 1/2 tsp. pepper (2.5ml)
- 2 Tbsp. sweet rice flour (30ml)
- 1 1/2 cups garbanzo (360ml, or chickpea flour, plus extra for shaping the dough)
- 1/2 cup cornmeal (120ml, or coarsely ground buckwheat)
- 2 tsp. baking powder (10ml, gluten free)
- 1 tsp. onion powder (5ml, granulated onion)
- 1/2 tsp. sweet paprika (2.5ml)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (2.5ml)
- 1/2 cup butter (120ml, chilled)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk (120ml)
