Description
I made this up because my health food store started stocking only granolas made with sugar. It goes great on homemade goat milk yogurt. (See my recipe.)
Ingredients

- 2 tsp. cardamom (optional)
- 1 cup dried fruit
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 cups old fashioned oatmeal (plus the rest of the dry ingredients.)
- 1/3 cup flour (any whole grain)
- 1/2 tsp. coarse sea salt (semi)
- 2 tsp. spice
- 2 cups nuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter (Buds, optional)
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring (or whatever you like.)

Directions
- Oil a cookie sheet
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together well.
- Place on cookie sheet evenly and press firmly.
