- 4 oz. green beans (cut into 2-inch length and blanched)
- 2 Roma tomatoes (quartered)
- 10 oz. peanuts (raw roasted unsalted, ground or chopped)
- 4 red chilis
- 5 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp. galangal powder
- 1 stalk lemon grass (trim off woody ends and cut into about 3-4 inches length and bruise with heavy object to release flavor)
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 4 Tbsp. Indonesian sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 pinch salt
- fried shallots (crisp, bawang goreng)

An excellent recipe, the best peanut sauce to date! Follow the ingredients under "directions" as they differ from the list above. To save calories, you can swap the coconut milk for water, works just as well (I even prefer it)
