The family enjoyed it I used cacao powder instead of cocoa powder And a half cup of date sugar instead of the maple syrup And omitted the espresso powder so I was concerned my batter wouldn’t be sweet enough so I added a banana. I am healing my body from breast cancer so we only put chocolate chips on half of the top. The family ate the side with the chocolate chips and I had the side without, we all thoroughly enjoyed it we have also been eating without processed food/sugar for about a year now and are excepting that this will not taste exactly the same as sugared up brownies. But After a year without brownies these take the cake ;)
