- 10 oz. chocolate melting wafers (semisweet)
- 2 cups cookie dough (divided between, and ganache; 6 oz for the cookie dough, 4 oz. for the ganache)
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder (unsweetened Hershey's Special)
- 2 Tbsp. chocolate (or regular malted milk powder - I used chocolate)
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour (plus more for waxed paper)
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (chilled, cut into 1 T. sized pieces)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup cream (for the cookie dough, you can be a little generous with this amount)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for the ganache, Here, I'd be a little stingy with the amount)
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- flaky sea salt
