- 1 Tbsp. avocado oil (or other oil with a high smoke point such as grapeseed, tigernut or coconut; if not olive oil)
- 1 pinch sea salt (& cracked pepper)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
- 2 tsp. ginger (fresh or paste)
- 2 1/2 cups cooked brown rice
- 2/3 cup bell peppers (colorful, chopped)
- orange bell peppers (I used a combination of chopped red, yellow and)
- 3 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce (or low sodium tamari)
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil (toasted, or peanut oil for fragrance)
- fresh lime juice

To have proper fried rice, the rice needs to be cold. Not cooled to room temperature.
