I did not fry them using a deep fryer so they came out a lot more oily than I anticipated. I think if fried correctly this would be a pretty good recipie. 3 stars bc i think it would have turn out good but im not really sure.

This recipe was a home run. I made it for a gentleman that was leaving for Africa, he and I serve on the same host ministry team. However, he and everyone else LOVED LOVED LOVED this simple recipe. I did add cinnamon, vanilla, buttermilk, and sprinkled with powder sugar. #yummy
