- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 cups lard (or vegetable oil)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. creole mustard (or good brown mustard)
- 2 Tbsp. Louisiana style hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish root (freshly grated, may substitute horseradish sauce from a jar in a pinch)
- 2 stalks green onion (washed and sliced very thin, green tops only)
- 1/4 cup dill pickles (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
