Using 3 Tblsp of cornstarch is way too much. It leaves what should be a soft glaze into jiggling jello on top of the strawberries. I would cut the cornstarch down to 1 Tblsp.

Followed recipe exactly as written and it turned out perfectly! The second time I made it I reduced the sugar to about 3/4 cup, and it was still excellent. So easy and quick to throw together.

This strawberry pie was so easy to make and so very good. I was lazy and used a store bought graham cracker crust which was a great combination. I rate it a 4.9.

Loved it! I used fresh local strawberries and topped it with homemade whipped cream. I was afraid I would be able to taste the jello and it might take away from the fresh berry taste but the jello just helped thicken the filling so it would slice nicely.

It takes a long time to set. Don't cut 6 cups of berries, you probably only need 4.5 for this recipe.
