Absolutely delicious! This is so simple and cheap to make. The only thing I did different was using sweetened coconut flakes instead of unsweetened because that is what I accidentally bought and it was still fine lol!

Turned out amazing. I used the Pillsbury frozen pie crust - very light and I used unsweetened coconut and one cup sugar as one mentioned for less sweetness. I’ll probably use less sugar then that the next time..definitely making this again♥️♥️

I made it into mini-pies using a cupcake mold. I didn’t have any unsweetened coconut on hand, so I used sweetened coconut and reduced the sugar to 3/4 cups. The pie was delicious—it reminded me of a pecan pie without the pecans. If I repeat this, next time, I’ll cut the sugar to 1/2 cup.

I have made these pies all my life.
This is the same recipe I’ve always used. It is the best and my family loves it. It reminds me of the old days. Try it and enjoy it! Thank you for the walk down memory lane./ R. DAVIS

Easy preparation, but way too sweet for us. Will try again with maybe 1/3 the amount of sugar. Can see why people love it.

Very nice coconut pie. It calls for regular coconut, not that over sweetened kind.

Loved it! Simple to make, delicious and worth the calories! It was a big hit - I like this pie better than coconut cream!
