4 SERVINGS
- 1 cup warm water (probably somewhere between 105º and 115º. I just get it hot from the tap. Don't get it too hot or it will kill the yeast.)
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cups bread flour (all-purpose works too)
- 1 tsp. salt

Delicious! I had to add 2 tbls water because it was too dry and there was lots of flour left on the bottom of my mixer. But it turned out great and so easy!

BEST bread recipe I have come across since my bread machine broke down recently. I use to make the dough in the machine then bake in the oven. I must have tried about 10 different bread recipes until I came across yours. I don't understand why anyone would give this recipe less than 5 stars! It is the fluffiest, softest, and tastiest bread I have ever made in the past 2 years since I started baking my own bread. I only added 1 tbsp of yeast to it and it still came out great! My search for a great tasting bread is finally over! I don't think I will be replacing my bread machine now, lol! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe :)

Followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. I could eat the whike thing. Will definitely be making again.

Great been making bread for over 40 years...I know good bread. My kids and grandkids agree.

Really good! Just make sure to keep it in at least 5 minutes longer if you start to think “OOOOP better take it out it’s looking “really brown” on top!” Because then the middle will still be some what doughy but still delicious!

A little dense, but I also put a pan of water in with the bread to keep it moist. Otherwise, very good!

The texture is incredible! It is so easy to make. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because it was bland. I will definitely use this as my go to bread recipe but use more salt and sugar to taste.

I followed directions exactly and the dough was way too dry. When baked it didn’t rise and it was really dense and smelt like yeast. It was not editable. I do live in a high altitude desert so I may have to adjust for that. It was my first time making bread so I may just have to try this recipe again but I won’t have high expectations.

I think the recipe is spot on, I think I needed to bake mine a little longer, it was a bit doughy near the bottom of the loaf. Also added a little bit it of beer and used garlic olive oil. Definitely tastes of garlic, and the whole house smells of garlic! Be warned! But still tastes good, I will retry again and try to stick to the directions. 😅

Well, through total user error it didn't turn out perfect. I can't believe I forgot the salt! However, I know next time it'll be perfect. The texture of the bread was amazing and the assembly was painless. I can't wait to try it again!

Wonderful, it lasted two days and I had to make another loaf! Lovely texture, great toasted with garlic, umm; yummy!

Made this recipe two weeks ago. It took one-third of the time of my other white bread recipe and I liked it so much better! Yeah! I cut too many slices in the bread and it deflated before it went into the oven. SO Sad, I know! But, with that said it was still soft and fluffy on the inside and not too hard on the outside. Yum....
