Actually I’ve never made biscuits from scratch which is so silly with only a few ingredients required I typically always have in hand. I used mostly the “sour cream” substitute for buttermilk but also made a cup of “milk/lemon” substitute to make up the difference.
Super helpful explanation of gluten effects on the process! I did use the processor to cut the butter in short spurts till grain like. Everything else by hand.
They are in the oven so I’m excited to try them. With the helpful instructions I am sure they will be a winner!

Love this recipe! The biscuits always come out perfect; and my family never hesitates to gobble them up.
