- 1/4 cup butter (I use Smart Balance Original because it’s dairy free and contains no hydrogenated oils)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (I like Jif Natural Creamy PB)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt (unless your peanut butter is really salty, then adjust according to taste)
- 2 cups oats (I use one minute Quaker Oats)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips (adjust depending on your taste for chocolate)
- raisins
- cinnamon
- vanilla extract
