Directions
- To prepare the carbonated water, fill the bottle of your KitchenAid® Sparkling Beverage Maker with cold water to the marked fill line. With the handle in the fully raised position and the bottle loading lever pulled forward, place the bottle into the carbonator. The white tip should be immersed in the water. Carbonate the water by pulling the lever down on your Sparking Beverage Maker firmly for a few seconds, doing this a couple of times until you get your desired level of carbonation. Return the handle to the fully raised position and push the bottle to release from the carbonator. Seal airtight with the lid until ready to use.
- Place the pitted cherries, lemon juice, honey powder, salt and pepper in the jar of the KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series 5-Speed Cordless Hand Blender. Fix the Hand Blender to the top of the lid and set the speed to maximum (setting #5). Blend until completely smooth. If desired, you can strain the liquid through a cheese cloth to remove any solids. Chill and store liquid in an airtight container for up to a day.
- To prepare the drink, serve 1 part soda and 1 part cherry lemonade base in chilled glasses. Garnish with thinly julienned mint leaves if desired.
