- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. whole grain mustard
- 2 Tbsp. pickle relish (dill)
- 1 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- frying oil (canola or vegetable)
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour (divided)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 12 oz. beer (choice, I used a brown ale for added flavor)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 lb. cod fillets (cut into 2-3 inch long strips)
- 8 flour tortillas (warmed through slightly)
- 1 pkg. sweet potato (frozen, fries, I used Alexia brand, cooked per manufacturer's instructions)
- 1 cup tartar sauce (spicy, see above)
- 1 lb. cod (fried, see above)
- lemon wedges (chopped parsley and malt vinegar (for garnish and serving), optional)
