This was awesome! My friend at work is from the Phillipines and she convinced me to try this. (My mom makes a traditional Italian bolognese sauce, so that's what I've always done.) I used half ground pork and half ground beef (about 3/4 lb. of each), and I used 2 small cans of Vienna sausages for the hot dogs as my friend suggested. I also eliminated the bell pepper for preference. I used a little extra sauce (2 15 oz. cans). I added about a Tbsp. of sriracha sauce for a little kick. It turned out delicious- sweet and savory and a tiny bit spicy. My husband really liked it and he couldn't believe there was ketchup in it! Will definitely make it again.

Delicious and best Filipino spaghetti sauce recipe I've had
I made it according to the instructions except the inclusion of the beef broth
I mixed paste bullion directly into the sauce and called it a day
Also used Hebrew National hotdogs as my hotdog of choice
It's balanced sweet and salty, but meaty and the noodles aren't missed Ate it over spaghetti squash instead
Definitely a keeper recipe
