    It was ok. I feel like 6 cups of water is too much. Turned out a little soup-y. Flavor's great though.

    Very tasty and exactly how my Filipino aunts and uncles make it. I preferred more soy flavor so I added about 2 tablespoons after the noodles were added. Thanks for sharing the back story from your time in the Philippines.

    I was surprised at how good it tasted because I didn't see a lot of flavor components in the recipe. However, it was so comforting and tasty. I couldn't find ponsit noodles anywhere so I ended up using another oriental style noodle. My version was rather pale in color by comparison and I guess I would've liked it a little browner, but I will definitely be making this again. It came together quickly and we all enjoyed it.
