- 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
- 1/4 tsp. fine sea salt
- 6 Tbsp. vegan butter (cold, cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract (or more vanilla extract)
- 1 cup raw cashews (soaked in boiling water for 1 hour)
- 1/3 cup coconut cream (the thick, solid portion from a can of full-fat coconut milk)
- 1/2 cup agave nectar (or maple syrup)
- 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- 25 figs (fresh, trimmed and sliced very thinly)
