So yummy!!! I sauted a shallot and some garlic in the butter before adding the Heavy cream for a little more flavor. Then put about 2 cups of parmesan cheese and added some pasta water to loosen when the sauce was thickening. I will definitely be making this again.

I love this recipe. I wasn't a fan of this dish until I had this version. It's very rich but it's perfect for a casual special occasion. Grating my own Parmesan makes for a creamier sauce. It doesn't make the best leftovers, all creaminess disappears when it's reheated.

This recipe for fettuccine alfredo is incredibly easy and the one & only alfredo recipe I'm sticking with. I make it at least once a week & add chicken to it, we love it! It's the best I've had, I've tried several recipes & frozen store bought. The only one that comes close would be the cheesecake factory's fettuccine alfredo. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Surprisingly good! I didn't think it would turn out great as it seemed a lot of sauce for the amount of pasta, but truly a great sauce. Doesn't store well though, turned into a brick in the fridge no matter how much you microwave it.

In a separate pan I fry onion, asparagus, broccoli, red peppers, mushroom and spinach and then add it to the Alfredo mix once it is done. It tastes delicious and makes it more healthy.
