Just pulled this guy out of the oven. Super excited to finally taste it. I don’t think I pulverized the groats enough, but I kind of like my bread with some chunkiness to it. I don’t have an oven with that low a temp, so I let it sit for almost 24 hours. I added sunflower seeds, chives, kalamata and green olives, garlic powder, oregano, and capers for a savory bread. The little bits I snuck from the crispy corners were tasty, but I’m excited to have a full slice with some olive oil and my salad. If it comes out great, I will make a sweet one!
