- 2 sweet potatoes (medium, scrubbed and chopped)
- 2 apples (large, or 3 small, cored and chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil (neutral, such as safflower or grapeseed or a vegetable oil spray)
- 3 cups chopped kale (tightly packed)
- 3 Tbsp. almond (sunflower seed, or cashew butter)
- 1/3 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is really nice, but bottle or carton is fine, too!)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 Tbsp. tamari (or Bragg's Liquid aminos)
