It was ok. I jiggled it and made the center cave in. I think I should have boiled the frosting for at least two minutes to make the sugar dissolve more and not be so crunch. My son loved it.

I used light brown sugar and it was great.
I’m always searching for that wholesome cake taste and this is it.

As long as you have a mixer, this cake is easy, moist, and tasty. Not an overly sweet cake - I didn't bother with frosting, but for me it stands alone! Note: The ingredients quantities seem to be displaying incorrectly on Yummly (for me). Click through to the website to view the given measures.

This was a very good and simple recipe. For me, no frosting was necessary as cake is moist and sweet enough (I didn’t use white sugar and cut light brown sugar amount in half). I placed in sealed container in the fridge after a few days and microwaved a slice to enjoy w morning coffee for a few days and froze the rest. YUM.
