I’ve been making these since I was a kid. The page of the cookbook was always easy to find since it was covered in batter from years of use. I always preferred them thin so I added a little bit more milk than the high end of what is suggested (3/4 is the higher end so I put in almost a cup). But most people like them as recipe is stated. Perfect pancakes every time
