  • 1/4 cup chickpeas (soaked overnight and peeled)
  • 1/4 cup bulgur (Fine, soaked in hot water for 45 minutes then drain well)
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 2 onions
  • 8 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (Marash, or crushed red pepper)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

  • veggies (Pickled)
  • white cheese (Not traditional but I also served good Turkish, Feta with mine.)
