I cut the ingredients down to 1/3 the amount because I wanted to see how it would turn out. I enjoyed it although I will cut back a little on the smoked paprika and add a little more broth and agave.

I loved it; hubby did not! I definitely want to eat this again though, so maybe over time it will begin to be delicious to him. Today I did not have canned jackfruit, but frozen worked well. After taking out of the freezer I spread the fruit onto paper towels, covered with another double layer of paper towels and pressed down to squeeze the moisture out. When drier, I sliced it into skinny strips then followed the recipe. It did require another frying at medium-high heat as a last step to brown and make it look meaty. (It might work well next time to fry the sliced jackfruit up along with the onions and garlic in the earlier step. After it is well browned, then add the liquid and spices.) The end result of my attuemps not only tasted yummy, it looked great too, like shredded meat!

A bit bland but they were easy. I would amp up some spice in this if I were to try again.

As an avid meat eater, I thought these tacos were a total success! I was looking to try something new, and am so happy I did. Will definitely be making again.

The only modifications I made:
Home made taco seasoning, and for topings I used raddish, purple onions, cilantro, and avocado. Definately worth trying , if you want something different

It was really good I just didn’t have the purple onion to go on top. I will definitely make these tacos again

So simple to make. Turned out really well! I added black beans and crushed up plain tortilla chips and a tiny bit of salsa into my burrito.
