Description

This is my son and grandsons absolute favorite. It's quick to make with only 1 gram of fat, choked full of protein and healthy carbs. I serve it with my homemade cornbread. Don't expect it to sit around in the refrigerator because looks can be deceiving.

    Directions

    1. In a large stock pot saute onion, celery, bell pepper, and minced garlic, in a 1/3 cup of water.
    2. Once the water has evaporated add the hamburger to the pot and continue cooking until it is completely browned. The water in the hamburger will finish sauté the vegetables naturally.
    3. Add the remaining ingredients stir, and cook on simmer for 30 minutes. Add chili powder, salt and pepper to taste, stir well, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
    4. This meal is awesome because it is high in good proteins and carbs, with virtually no fat. Servings 8, I serve it with my homemade cornbread.
