    Excellent start for this recipe!! My family is Creole, and I use this recipe as a base instead of chicken stock I use seafood stock I also use Louisiana style sausage (like Savoie - you can order it online) and, I add a smoked turkey wing it is ooo-wee good!!

    Great recipe overall, but 2 modifications that I found necessary: cook rice separately first (cooking as instructed I ended up with rice that was still crunchy and had to try and salvage it), and add a lot more flavors if you like spicy food (cayenne, paprika, chili powder, crushed red pepper). Otherwise, loved it, will 100% make this again

    This was pretty good. I did have to add more rice because there was a lot of extra liquid. The flavor was a bit on the bland side for my families taste and not even a tiny bit spicy, so we just sprinkled on some Cajun creole pre-made seasoning and that gave it more flavor and the spice that Jambalaya usually has. All in all, we will use the recipe again, but we will tweak it.

    awesome. .. only thing i did different was cook the rice on its own. would definitely cook this again.

    Great easy dish!!! So many great flavors going on, and they all go great together. The only thing I had to do the second time around was beef up on the seasonings! 👌🏽
