The taste was good and I totally loved the idea of baking them in the slow cooker however, 2 hours was waaayyyy too long in my slow cooker . They were pretty much inedible. We could only eat some of the middle. Will definitely try the recipe again but watch them carefully to avoid over cooking. The glaze was very good though. The little bit of syrup gave it a great flavor.
