    This recipe did not go as planned. The brown sugar would not melt into the butter and it ended up burning. It was impossible to get the pie crust into the pan without hot sugar and butter bubbling out burning my hands. Would not make again.

    Great recipe! The only change i made was I left about 1/3 of the butter brown sugar mixture in the base of the skillet. I layered the remaining 2/3 with the apple slices.

    Beautiful! I added extra brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to the bottom and top of the pie for a little extra flavor and warmth
