My boyfriend's grandma sent us this recipe and it instantly became one of our favorite easy recipes.
Ingredients

4 SERVINGS
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2 broccoli (small-medium crowns)
- 6 tsp. minced garlic
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 vegetable bouillon cubes (I use a couple teaspoons of Better than Bouillon)
- cayenne pepper (to taste)
- red pepper flakes (to taste)
- 3 cups penne pasta

Directions
- Put a large pot of water on to boil and add penne, cooking according to instructions.
- In a large skillet or stock pot, heat 2 tbsp. corn oil over medium high heat. (We use a stock pot so then we can toss the pasta in there and stir everything together.) Add the broccoli and garlic and let cook, stirring frequently. Cook the broccoli according to your own taste — we like it best when it gets a little brown and crispy.
- Heat the remaining 2 tbsp. olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat and cook the pine nuts, This should only take a couple minutes — be careful to make sure they don't burn.
- Heat water in microwave and add 2-3 tsp. bouillon or bouillon cubes, stirring until dissolved.. Add cayenne pepper to taste to the broth.
- Add the pine nuts, penne, broth, and red pepper flakes to the broccoli, and serve!
