Here is a simple recipe that uses eight ingredients to create a delicious presentable organic meal!
Wash the Okra, then pat it dry to obtain a non sticky condition.
You slice 2 handful of Okras - add a little turmermic power to it- then mix lightly.
Heat 3 tbs of oil - you can blend mustard-oil as well- ** Add to this - Finely slice 1 medium onion - 4 cloves garlic and 3/4 green peppers' -
Sauté till partially golden; add the okra mix - Stir lightly and keep the flames on very low heat (sweet flames) - with the pot uncovered (Tip the low heat - retains it beautiful green color and stops the process of burning the vegtables)
Add 2/3 bay leaves and continue cooking till you get this wonderful flavor rising -
Check for tenderness - when cooked well, turn of the cooker -
Serve with rice or you can have this with almost any curried meal.
Other variations can include - chicken- beef -lamb dried fish etc.
