- 100 grams potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 50 grams lotus root (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup cabbage (cut into square bite-size)
- 1/2 onion (quartered)
- 200 grams shrimp (peeled)
- 100 grams fish cakes (cut into slices)
- 10 dried chilies (leave them whole)
- 1/2 pkg. stir fry sauce (Hai Di Lao basic, and add more if you prefer)
- 3 Tbsp. chili (Lao Gan Ma spicy, crisp or as needed)
- 1 Tbsp. Sichuan peppercorns
- 1 tsp. msg (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 cup toasted peanuts
- white sesame seeds (Toasted)
- 1 stalk green onion (finely chopped)
