I use my bread machine to mix and raise the dough and then bake in the oven. Good recipe. Turned out good.

The ingredient proportions come together really nicely in the KitchenAid stand mixer. I don't have a lame, so I tried to score slits with a paring knife. They deflated the loaves a bit, but they bounced right back when I put them in the oven to bake.

These hoagie were delicious! Worth the work. I would definitely make again and I did not modify the recipe.
