- 2 cups asparagus (sliced into 1″ pieces and cooked. See notes below)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded, gouda also works well)
- 12 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt (if ham is salty reduce to 1 teaspoon)
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
- 1/4 cup fresh chives (chopped, or 1 tablespoon dried)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. mustard (yellow or dijon is fine)
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
