The custard turned out good, though there should be a note about covering it immediately with plastic wrap so that no film forms on the top. The actual cream puffs however ended up burned by the 17 minute mark when I checked them. They were also horrible to work with using a spoon and hands, looking back I should have piped them for a cleaner puff shape. I don't know if it's that the temperature of 450 is too high or the time 20 to 25 minutes is too long, but it's too much and my puffs were ruined 😰 Didn't even get to the caramel step because of this.
