Lacking that extra touch maybe use some Mirin or oyster sauce to kick it up a little still pretty good otherwise

Big hit with my kids! I used brown jasmine rice, fresh ginger (instead of ground), 2 sm/med carrots diced, 1 celery stalk diced, and added frozen shelled edamame with the frozen peas and corn. I did use fresh garlic and green onions. I only used two eggs because I don’t like eggs and the pictures looked very eggy. For the soy sauce I substituted half the amount with liquid aminos. Finished with the sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds! Unfortunately I didn’t have shrimp on hand but will definitely try shrimp or rotisserie chicken next time. It was great as a veggie fried rice.

My children absolutley loved it! i cooked as chicken and shrimp form. i tweaked the recipe a little and used butter to cook the shrimp in sided with some seafood seasoning. as well used sesame oil/butter to cook the veggies.. combined finished product with brown instead of white rice

Delicious and easy! I did not have any sesame oil but it was still extremely tasty without it!

This recipe was easy to make and was very good. My 1 year old daughter and husband loved it! I used a can of mixed vegetables because it's what I had on hand (minus the potatoes). I will definitely make this again!

Very good, I will make again! It didn’t turn out too bland by a long ways but then I added spices to the shrimp before cooking it( paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, salt and black pepper)😉😆. Tasty, better than takeout!!

Sub butter for the canola oil - just like the restaurants use and don't forget the oyster sauce. Forget the cloves too.

It packed a lot of flavour and was a very uninteresting dinner unfortunately

Liked how easy it was to make. You can add any other vegetables you have laying around. I added fish sauce and it turned out great! If while you are making it starts tasting bland add more soy sauce or salt and pepper.

The husband loves it. I’ve made it multiple times and I’ll return to it again and again! Most is these ingredients I have laying around most days so it’s an easy meal for us!

Turned out great! We will be making it again. Would be good with salmon or pork in it instead of shrimp too. We also tried it wrapped in tortillas with avocado slices and a few drops of Szechuan sauce. That was also good.
