At first I thought it was going to be too much sauce, a 28-oz can of crushed tomatoes, a 15-oz can of diced tomatoes, a 15-oz can of tomato sauce, and 2 tbsp of tomato paste. I looked at the pot and said, “This is so much sauce!”. However, it was the perfect amount of sauce. This does make a large serving for a large family gathering or party. If you are making it just for dinner, be prepared for leftovers or like me, freeze the extra for a night you don’t want to cook.

Thanks for neglecting the ricotta on here. Kinda important. Had my parents visiting from 900 mi away and missed a main ingredient because it wasn't transferred to this list. Great first meal after a year and a half without seeing them.
