- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger (finely minced or grated, or use paste)
- 3 cloves garlic (finely minced or crushed)
- 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into ¾-inch chunks)
- 1 can tomato paste (or 8-10 oz can of tomato sauce)
- 1 Tbsp. Garam Masala
- 1 tsp. chili powder (or paprika, adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp. fenugreek (I use powder, but seeds or mustard seeds can be used too, optional*)
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 yogurt

This is one of my favorite Indian dishes and it's quick and easy to make. It was creamy and savory and everything I hoped for. I'd love to try this sauce with paneer.

Really good. I went the tomato sauce route and used boneless chicken thighs that I marinated in Greek yogurt for 30 mins ahead of time. Delicious.

This was amazing! I did substitute a few spices and I used a little less tomato sauce (I only had about 4 oz). Even my picky 4 year old loved it 😊

I tripled the recipe and so I had way too much sauce, but it was tasty. It will refrigerate over night for my lunchen tomorrow, so thinking it might be delicious the second day. If I remember Ill let you know.
