It was very easy to make, and nice enough tasting. I didn’t find the glaze to be particularly “earl grey” tasting. That said, I did enjoy them. I may look for a recipe that involves tea in the actual dough rather than just the glaze.

Made these without trying the original recipe, but I thought since I was making my own buttermilk, as I have none, why not heat the milk with an additional three bags in the milk and then make the buttermilk substitute when it cooled. These had good flavour when glazed. I also too did add a bit more butter which helped with them not being too dry.
