Have made these multiple times as written & they come out great every time! Look just like the pictures on the blog - fluffy & not heavy at all. Don't know what issues the other reviewer had & don't see how you can have a muffin that is too wet but heavy at the same time. A heavy muffin usually means overbeating the batter - you really only want to fold things in so do by hand or only use a low speed with a mixer. It can also mean you've done the scooping into the bag or canister method which packs the flour & causes you to use too much. Recommend fresh blueberries over frozen (or allow frozen ones plenty of time to thaw, drain and dry out very well) and whole milk rather than a more watery lower fat milk.

These were so wet and heavy. I think there is way too much milk in the recipe. They didn’t even really cook inside. I was going to throw them out, but my son said they were one of the best muffins he has ever eaten. I still say use less milk if you try to make them.
