This soup was so good. I made some modifications....
-Added 3/4 cup crowder peas
-Substituted 3 cups of water for 3 cups of chicken broth
-Added 1 chicken breast, shredded
-Deleted cabbage...only because I cooked the soup on the stove and then put in crock pot for a few hours on warm and I was afraid the cabbage would fall apart.

So boring and dull! Must add either parmesan or low fat mozzarella. I do like the addition of chicken for protein. Thighs always work for me as they have such flavor!

I added peas. Next time I make it I will substitute chicken broth instead of using soup mix. I am also going to add some parsley and a bit of garlic to zip it up. It is very tasty and good as a meal. I brought along some chicken and shrimp as a protein option for those I shared it with at work.
